Crazy story behind this one. My girlfriend and I were out hiking in Northern California during a stormy winter night. We were in a densely forested canyon when we heard faint hoo-ing in the distance. We investigated further and found 2 Great Horned Owls waking up from there daily slumber. The next day we went back to find those same owls in the same tree. This time, I had my camera with me.
